Cant blog to-day , I'm " slow of flight." Went to the Cliff hotel ( up the road ) last night for the tasting menu . I was tired from customers telling me how good it was . They lied , it was'nt good , it was magic .Here are the 18 plates we worked our way through over a blissful 4 -5 hours accompanied by 5 glasses of perfectly matched wines .

What a week , freezing cold , lashing rain and blowing a gale outside . So wild I missed my swim yesterday morning .
Cheered myself up by painting this new set of Breakfast cups , hope you like them . I started making these  

 cups many years ago to replace the breakfast cups we inherited with the house 30 years ago . There is nothing like the 1st cup of tea in the morning , hence the big cup . Cup and Saucer €25 .

Andrew Ludick

Got beautiful new work from Andrew Ludick during the week . Jugs , vases , plates and fish dishes . I love Andrews work , so fine and colourful and very affordable , it would cheer up anyones day .

I'm back at work now in our lovely freshly painted shop waiting for lots of new work to come in from all over the country . More about that as time goes on , in the mean time I'll paint a few pots .
